SNOW DATE: March 1, 2023 - same time
Criminal Justice students visited the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) at Dulles Airport to learn about law enforcement careers, training opportunities and what a day in the life of a TSA official looks like.
On a recent trip to the Fairfax County Public Safety and Transportation Operation Center (PSTOC), EMT students learned about the inner workings of emergency management and how the Department of Public Safety handles emergency and nonemergency police, fire and rescue calls in the county.
All health and medical classes receive CPR training and certification through Falls Church Academy. Here the Medical Assistant students are practicing to be certified. If CPR is performed in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest, CPR can double or triple a person's chance of survival.

Get ready for Winter Weather!!!
FCPS’ inclement weather procedures. The first five inclement weather days will be traditional “snow days” with no school activities.
After those five days, we will hold virtual learning days, whenever possible, to maintain continuity of learning. Virtual learning on these days will be synchronous (live) instruction following the inclement weather virtual learning day schedule which includes a two-hour delay.
Visit FCPS' Weather Cancellation Procedures page to stay informed in case of winter weather or other emergency situations.
