Dear Haycock Families,
It was a great week as we continued our celebrations of Lunar New Year. Our first ever Dragon Parade took place on Tuesday morning and was amazing. Again, thank you to the many parents and staff members who decorated Haycock and provided learning opportunities for our students about Lunar New Year and how different Asian cultures celebrate this important holiday.
We loved seeing many of you at the PTA Bingo Night last Friday. It was such a great night of family fun.
We hope you will join us in honoring our wonderful crossing guard, Ms. Beeda Lee-Pawlak, this Thursday, February 9. If you walk from the Westmoreland and Haycock Road intersection direction, then you have seen her in action and seen how hard she works to keep our students safe as they are walking to school. We will also be honoring and showing our appreciation for our counselors, Ms. Lilienthal and Ms. Padgett, on Thursday, February 9. See information below.
With appreciation for your partnership,
Liz Beaty, Principal embeaty@fcps.edu
Heather Boyd, AP HABoyd@fcps.edu
Jody Delaney, AP jmdelaney@fcps.edu
