Love is in the air!  Please consider showering our teachers with you by volunteering to provide the gift of time on February 15 and 16.  Parent volunteers will supervise students during recess and then bring them to the cafeteria- rain or shine!  If the weather is wet or too cold, we will still have you support indoor recess.  Please arrive ten minutes before the scheduled time to check in at the office and be sure to bring your government issued ID for check-in.  Feel free to sign up for one slot or many, however, please check that your time slots do not overlap.  Thank you!

📚Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books meeting

Mosaic's 2nd Annual Battle of the Books will be held in May, and all 5th and 6th graders are invited to participate. Students read as many of the 10 books on the list as they wish, and then they compete in a Kahoot competition to test their knowledge of all 10 books. Teachers will be hosting informal book discussions in the coming weeks, either before or after school. Students are encouraged to attend as many of these meetings as possible.

Look in the Library Schoology course to find out more about the program, view the meeting schedule, and print permission slips for meetings. Permission slips can also be picked up in the Mosaic library.

Reach out to our librarian, Mrs. Heather Brown (hbrown@fcps.edu), with any questions.
