salad bar

The return of the salad bar this past week was a big hit!

A Note from Mr. Gates...

We are looking forward to starting the third Quarter of the school year.  As they reviewed mid-year assessment results and finished up second quarter progress reports, teachers were excited to see the growth students have made both academically and socially.  We are very thankful for the partnerships you have built with us.  By working together students have experienced success at Hollin Meadows We are hopeful that with your support during the third quarter will bring more meaningful learning experiences that will help our students continue to grow.

This past week students enjoyed the return of the salad bar to the cafeteria. It was a big hit. As one student remarked, "I am so excited! The salad bar is my favorite!" You can review the menu found here to go over what items will be available so that your child can think about what they might want.

On Wednesday, January 25th, Hollin Meadows students celebrated their first school-wide “Accomplishment Walk!" Prior to the walk all students reflected on their accomplishments over the first half of the year as well as new goals moving forward in 2023. Each student created a poster and carried it as they paraded through the school and were cheered on by their fellow students.  It was wonderful to see students celebrating not only their own learning but the accomplishments of others.

As always, thank you for your continued support of all things Hollin Meadows. Wishing you a fantastic week ahead!

Best,

Jon Gates, Principal
