February Dining for Dollars:

Pupatella, Mosaic District on Tuesday, Feburary 7th

Pupatella, Mosaic District, will be hosting February's Dining for Dollars.  Grab some Neopolitan pizza and other Italian classics and support Thoreau as well!

When:  Tuesday, February 7th from 11:30am - 9:00pm

CrossTown Hoops T-Shirt & Ticket Information  

Come support our four student teams take on Kilmer Middle School the evening of March 15th at Marshall High School! 

Purchase a CrossTown Hoops T-Shirt to fill the stands with Thoreau spirit! ($12 on MemberHub). To ensure delivery before the game, T-Shirt sales will run from January 30th through February 15thTickets to the game will only be available pre-sale through MemberHub for $5 each beginning on January 30th and will be available until we hit capacity.  No tickets or t-shirts will be sold at the door. Don't miss this marquee event!

The PTA Hospitality Committee is happy to announce that the popular SOUPER BOWL is back for 2023!

The staff at Thoreau will enjoy a SUPER BOWL themed lunch on Thursday, February 9th.  The staff will be served a variety of soups, in addition to salads and desserts.  We are asking for donations of soup, desserts, and rolls.  The PTA will supply the salads and drinks.

The soup (or chili) should be delivered WARM in a crock pot to the school on the day of the event between 7:30am-10:00am.   Rolls and desserts can be dropped off at that same time or the afternoon on Wednesday, Feb 8th to the front office.  Crock Pots will be cleaned at the end of the event and ready for pick-up in the front office on Thursday afternoon and the next day.  Please label your crock pots.

Attention Parents with Rising 9th Graders who play Fall Sports or in the Band!

Please note the Important Dates below for JMHS Fall Sports & Marching Band:

  • Fall Tryouts Start July 31/Aug 1

  • Golf Starts July 24

  • Band Starts July 31/Aug 1

  • Madison Physical Night - May 10th
