Principal's Message

Hello Lynbrook Families, 

It’s hard to believe that we are already at the end of the 2nd quarter! We have so much to celebrate in regards to our Leprechauns! Students have been continuing to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

I have had the opportunity to meet with many students in the morning during breakfast and they have shared that they feel supported by our staff and are excited to come to school ! They have requested more grade level field trips and school spirit days, so stay tuned for more information on these events throughout the next few weeks.

I am continually inspired by how confident our students are in providing feedback on how to make their learning experiences more meaningful. The future is looking bright for our Leprechauns!

Lynbrook Spirit Store

Our Lynbrook school spirit store is up and running selling school shirts and hoodies. This includes shirts in children’s sizes. Please click on this link http://stores.blue84spirit.com/LYNBROOK23 for more details. Orders must be placed online by 1/29/23 .

Magnet School Application and Lottery Information

FCPS has two Magnet School’s at the elementary level  that focus on the arts and sciences to give children a chance to make learning a creative experience.  The Magnet Program registration window will be open from Wednesday March 1, through Wednesday, April 12, 2023.  No late applications are accepted.

To learn more about the programs and the registration process, families are encouraged to attend one of the Parent Informational Nights:

  • Hunters Woods Elementary, February 13, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. - In-person
    • Snow date: February 21, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
  • Bailey’s Upper, February 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. - Virtual only
  • Bailey’s Primary, February 16, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. - In person
    • Snow date: February 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
