While winter is here, we have yet to experience any snow in this area. As we plan for potential school cancellation or delays please know that our Lynbrook ES webpage will post any school cancellations and/or delays as well as relay the 2 hour delay schedule. Feel free to bookmark this link :

Additionally, we do not have school this upcoming Monday due to our MLK Holiday. We wish everyone a lovely 3 day weekend and look forward to seeing our Leprechauns back on Tuesday!

Free COVID 19 testing is being offered Tuesdays and Fridays (8AM-6PM) at the Centreville Library and Bailey’s Community Center. Wednesdays and Saturdays (8AM-6PM) testing is offered at the RIchard Byrd Library and Groveton Baptist Church. Testing is offered on Thursdays and Sundays (8AM-6PM) at the New Grand Mart (6255 Little River Turnpike) and James Lee Community Center.
No appointments, ID or registrations are necessary. Results are available in 1-3 days. There are no out-of-pocket costs.
Reasons to be tested: cough, fever or chills, difficulty breathing, sore throat, headache or muscle pain, runny nose, loss of smell or taste, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
Services are provided by Curative in partnership with the Fairfax County Health Department.

The next Lynbrook Family Market will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 4:00-5:30. Come to door 8 for free fresh produce and groceries. Remember to bring your own bags.
Parents of students who will be attending Key Middle School next year are invited to a meeting on January 18 at 6:30 PM. You will learn more about Key Middle School, electives, the curriculum, the Advanced Academics program, and much more. There will be time for questions and answers.
