Notes from the Nest
Next Friday, January 20, we will be having a fun schoolwide Spirit Day! Each grade level has been assigned a color (see list below). We can't wait to see all the colors represented!
- Kindergarten: Blue
- 1st grade: Purple
- 2nd grade: Yellow
- 3rd grade: Orange
- 4th grade: Black
- 5th grade: Red
- 6th grade: Green
- PreK: Rainbow or color of choice
As with any Spirit Day at SEES, there is no obligation to participate and/or students can also choose to dress in school colors (blue and gold) in lieu of dressing up.

International Night/Silent Auction Update: We're moving this fun event to March and will announce the new dates soon! If you're interested in helping, please reach out to our PTA President, Ashley Doss, at Ashley.n.doss1@gmail.
STEM exCEL Classes: We are VERY excited to host the STEM exCEL program at SEES again! We have 3 classes starting next week that meet once a week for 7 weeks. All classes meet on their designated day from 4:15 - 5:15 at SEES (room location will be announced to students prior to the class starting).

In order to hold these fun STEM classes, a PTA member needs to volunteer to be present during each class session. If your child is taking one of the three classes please think about volunteering to sit in on at least one of the seven sessions. Without PTA parent volunteers we will not be able to hold the classes. You just have to be present during the class as the PTA representative - you don't have to actually participate in the course material. The sign-up sheet can be accessed through this link:
