Good afternoon, Lane families!
We have two information sessions coming up tomorrow and Friday that you may wish to attend.
The first is focused on bullying - education, prevention, and intervention. It will be held tomorrow night - Thursday, January 12th - from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Zoom. This virtual presentation, sponsored by the Hayfield pyramid principals, will be led by Stefan Mascoll, coordinator for the FCPS Office of Student Safety and Wellness. Discussion will include definitions and examples of bullying, harassment, and other types of concerning behaviors; school bullying and harassment prevention and response; and tips and resources for parent prevention and response. The second session – our monthly “First Friday” (or “Second Friday” in this case) Partner with the Principal gathering – will be held this Friday, January 13th before school from 8 to 9 a.m., This month we’ll have a mid-year check-in open forum. Feel free to bring your questions for Mrs. Prahl! Child care will be provided for children ages 4 and up (younger children will remain with their parents). If you plan to attend, please RSVP here.
