Dear Rising 7th Grade Rocky Run Families,
Today, we had a blast hosting our rising 7th grade students for orientation! We hope everyone had a great time too. Students enjoyed various performances from the Music Department, listened to student panel about MS life, met with key staff members and had a building tour. Now we are looking forward to meeting families at our Curriculum Night next Tuesday!
Each elementary school will be working directly with you and your child to select the courses for 7th grade. You can view our Elective Videos if you are interested. We encourage you to visit our Academic Advising website and consult with your 6th grade teachers/counselors during this process. Contact us at any time if you have any questions.
Curriculum Night and Electives Fair for Rising 7th Grade Students and Families
Please mark your calendar for Rocky Run's Family Curriculum Night on the evening of Tuesday, January 17th, 6 - 7:30 PM. During this in-person event, you will have an opportunity to take a self-guided building tour, meet with our staff members including administrators, counselors and teachers, and learn about our course offerings. All students and families are welcome!
This event is an open house format and here are the suggested arrival times for each elementary schools.
- 6 PM - GBW, GBE and small feeders
- 6:30 PM - Poplar Tree, Bull Run and Powell
- 7 PM - Brookfield, Willow Springs
