🍭Valentine's Candy Grams

Candy grams

We are currently collecting whole class Candy Gram orders!

Each candy gram costs $1.50 and can be ordered using this Google form. This is for ENTIRE CLASSROOM orders only. If you are ordering online, please be sure that your child does not also order for the same class. We don't want to duplicate any orders.

If you are ordering less, students must order them in person with Ms. Levis in room M2 during in-school buying times. Stay tuned for more information regarding in-school purchase days.

Orders will not be filled out until payment is received. Please email cclevis@fcps.edu if you have any questions.  Checks or cash can be dropped off to Ms. Levis' mailbox. Make checks payable to Mosaic Elementary School.

🌎Family Heritage Night

Family Heritage Night

Come enjoy a “taste” of Mosaic! Travel around the school and enjoy cultural displays, crafts, and food sampling. Experience storytelling, dancing, singing, and a dazzling international fashion show.

More information coming soon about signing up to participate or contribute. We’d love to have a wide representation of the diversity that we are so lucky to have at Mosaic!

Udvar-Hazy field trip

5th Graders enjoyed their field trip to the Udvar-Hazy Center!

📚Battle of the Books

Battle of the books

Mosaic's 2nd Annual Battle of the Books will be held in May, and all 5th and 6th graders are invited to participate. Students read as many of the 10 books on the list as they wish, and then they compete in a Kahoot competition to test their knowledge of all 10 books. Teachers will be hosting informal book discussions in the coming weeks, either before or after school. Students are encouraged to attend as many of these meetings as possible.

Look in the Library Schoology course to find out more about the program, view the meeting schedule, and print permission slips for meetings. Permission slips can also be picked up in the Mosaic library.

Reach out to our librarian, Mrs. Heather Brown (hbrown@fcps.edu), with any questions.
