Dear Clearview Families,

Thank you for encouraging your child to participate in Spirit Week this week.  It was a truly special week, filled with excitement, as winter break approached. Students and staff were beaming as students delivered unexpected handwritten notes and, in some cases, small tokens of appreciation to staff and vice-versa.  A HUGE thank you to the families who supported the SOUPER Send-off Lunch for Clearview teachers and staff.  We appreciate your support and delicious soup, breads, and goodies!  Clearview is such a special place!

Taking a (technology-free) walk as a family creates a unique opportunity for family members to share what is in their hearts or just marvel at the natural beauty all around us.  Some days will be warmer than others during these last few days of autumn and first couple weeks of winter but don’t let the cold weather stop you. There is something truly special about coming in from the cold and warming up with a cup of hot cocoa!

As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or compliments you may have. If you have seen a Clearview staff member going above and beyond, fill out an FCPS Cares here.

Have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Speed Cameras Target School Zone Safety

On December 6, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors voted to launch a pilot program that will have 10 speed monitoring devices (speed cameras) installed throughout the county. These cameras will be in nine school zones and one construction zone. Thanks to our county partners for helping to improve the safety of our students and staff.
