 Lemon Road looks forward to hosting our Annual Variety Show on Friday! Students Kindergarten through Sixth Grade auditioned for the opportunity to either have their act recorded and played in the classrooms on Thursday or performed live on the stage on Friday. The show on Friday will begin promptly at 9 AM and will last approximately 90 minutes. Parents of performers are welcome to attend the show in person or any parent may log in to our LiveStream: https://youtu.be/NUv7rzvycD4
Thank you to all our parents who supported the performers or volunteered to support the process. Parents joining in person should arrive between 8:30 - 8:45 to give time for parking and check in using their photo ID in our lobby.
All classes are looking forward to their Winter Parties this Friday afternoon! Any materials or treats being donated for parties should be labeled with the classroom teacher's name. Adults joining class parties should arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and scanning their photo ID in the school lobby prior to joining a classroom.
A final reminder that today, December 15 is the county-wide deadline for Level IV AAP Referrals. Questions about the process should be emailed to Mrs. Avery Straw directly (akstraw@fcps.edu). The required Referral Form can be found here.
 Congratulations to the Lemon Road students that competed this fall representing our school through Science Olympiad! We recently received the results from our Science Olympiad, Division A ( Grade 3-5) competitions and many of our students placed in the different events. Thank you for all the support this season from parents, community, and staff!
To support a healthy media balance and to encourage students to spend time away from screens, FCPS devices in general will not be going home over winter break. If you have a need for your child to have their device with them over break, please copy and paste the following sentence and email it to your child’s teacher. "My child, <insert name>, needs access to their school-assigned device over winter break. I will take responsibility for my child’s activities on the device and make sure they are following the FCPS SR&R guidance and acceptable use policy. Thank you, <insert parent name>"
