Dear CES friends and families:

As we prepare for the last week of school before winter break, I'd like to again thank the wonderful PTA for their ongoing support and partnership throughout the school year!

Next week, parent volunteers will be hosting "Five Days of Cheer" for the staff at Columbia ES. From snack carts, to a sweet shop, hot chocolate and more, our teachers and adults in the building will be appreciated each day before winter break.

If you haven't joined the PTA this year, it's not too late. Please join us at the December monthly PTA meeting on Tuesday, December 13th, via the zoom link below and/or visit the following site for more information: CES PTA

Join Zoom Meeting - Tuesday, December 13th at 7pm

Safety procedures/reminders for parents

As we move in to winter break, we would like to thank all parents for their continued support of our safety procedures before, during, and after the school day. When we return from break we will remind everyone of these procedures, and it only works well when we all work together.

Please remember that arrival is between 9:05am and 9:20am. When dropping kids off, or picking them up, through Kiss-n-Ride, please follow staff directions and all signage posted.

During the school day, please remember to bring Identification with you as you enter the main office. All visitors/parents must enter the main office directly upon entering the building.

Finally, please remember that dismissal is at 4:05pm each day unless if we have an early release day. Those days are communicated in advance emails from teachers and these weekly updates. Thank you!
