Principals' Message
Hello Centreville Community,
We had a wonderful week back from the Thanksgiving break. Only two more quick weeks until our two week winter break. We enjoyed going on field trips, working with Ozobots, dancing, math games, and attending morning meetings this week.
You may have noticed an increase in text messages from CES. This is due to our new communication tool called Talking Points. This application allows us to send text messages for reminders, to ask questions, and gain insight into school related items. One of the great aspects of this program is its two way communication function. Meaning we can have a conversation through text messaging. Our hope is this new technology allows us to increase our two-way communication with the community.
Upcoming Events:
- Tuesday, December 6th
- 7:00pm: 5th & 6th Grade Winter Chorus Concert
- Wednesday, December 14th
- 7:00pm: 5th & 6th Grade Winter Strings Concert
Have a wonderful weekend!
Rachel, Jen, & Josh

We Want Your Feedback!
The Centreville pyramid elementary counselors are planning to hold a pyramid-wide event in the spring. Please complete a brief survey by clicking on the link below, so we can gauge our community's interest level on different topics. Thank you!

We encourage you to access these family resources to learn more by using the following links. Resources are available in English and Spanish. Where in the World is Baldy
When your family is planning a fun excursion, you can email Mr. Douds at jtdouds@fcps.edu to reserve a small stuffed Baldy to take with you. All that we ask in return is that you return Baldy in good condition and share any photos of your student(s) with him.
This past week Baldy visited the Disney parks in Florida and stopped by Ocean City, Maryland for a beautiful sunrise on the beach.
