Educate Fairfax Celebrates Community and Announces the "Innovators' Fund"
We were delighted to celebrate our new superintendent and the Fairfax County community's support of schools at last week's Leaders & Learners Breakfast. We recognized the contributions of Len Forkas, Milestone Towers and the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation to the success of FCPS.

Board Chairman Cindy Anderson announced a new initiative for 2022-2023, the Innovators' Fund. This fund will be used to enhance, support, and drive creativity and innovation at all levels in FCPS, particularly related to STEM education. Educate Fairfax will match the first $50,000 in donations to this fund!

Nominate a Distinguished FCPS Graduate for the Hall of Fame
Nominations are open for our next round of inductees to the FCPS Hall of Fame. We know there are many outstanding graduates to be recognized. Educate Fairfax aims to create a community where our alumni are engaged with FCPS, our students, and one another.

Thank you to Giant Food "Nourishing Our Youth" Program
In September, Giant Food donated over $26,000 to Educate Fairfax to support hungry students in FCPS. Funds were collected by shoppers who rounded up their purchases over the summer. We were amazed by the generosity, and funds will be used to reduce student lunch debt around the county.
