Join us for Spirit Night at Five Guys tonight, Wednesday, November 16 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM! Make dinner easy by joining us for a fundraiser to support Bonnie Brae Elementary School PTO!
Five Guys will donate 20% of all orders (Online Orders, Call-In, Walk-In) between 4-8 pm to the PTO.

The PTO Meetings for the 2022-2023 school year will continue to occur on the the third Thursday of each month at 7 PM.

Thanksgiving Menu- Students Only
As you know, the annual FCPS Thanksgiving luncheon that included inviting our students’ parents, guardians, and family members in years past has not been offered over the last few years due to COVID-19. This school year, FCPS Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) is excited to be able to provide a Thanksgiving lunch menu for students on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Unfortunately, FCPS has reported that supply chain challenges continue to impact daily operations of the FNS; as a result, the lunch this year is not open to parents, guardians, and other guests. We are working with the PTO to schedule a family lunch at a day later this school year and look forward to announcing a family luncheon date soon!

SCA Spirit Day- Anything but a Backpack Day!
Friday, November 18th is our next SCA Spirit Day – Anything But a Backpack Day! Our SCA Leadership Team invites Bonnie Brae staff and students to bring their belongings in anything but a backpack on November 18th. Examples include a small cooler, a bucket, a small basket, a duffle bag, etc. (if riding a bus, containers must be small enough to fit on a student’s lap). As a reminder, for all Bonnie Brae spirit days we encourage participation through the SCA theme for that month, or by wearing Bonnie Brae colors of blue and white!

Join us on Monday, November 21 from 8:40 - 9:25 AM for our Parent Coffee in the Cafeteria. We will spend our time together with Larissa Sheehan, our Advanced Academics Resource Teacher to learn more about Critical and Creative Thinking Strategies. We hope you can join us!
