Hello Scottie Families!
Thank you to our Scottie community for providing the food this morning for our Veterans Day breakfast! Veterans of our Bonnie Brae family embody the Positivity Project character strength of bravery, and we are so glad that many of them were able to join us this morning with their child or grandchild!
As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow in observance of Veterans Day. Have a great weekend, Scotties!

A few amazing highlights that happened this week...
Our third grade students and teachers had a blast at the National Zoo on Wednesday. Check out this curious sea lion getting in on the action!
Mrs. Vershaw, Assistant Principal, lead morning meeting with these amazing sixth graders in Mrs. Sorenson's class! Playing “Would You Rather” and hearing their reasoning was such a great start to her day!

Examples include a small cooler, a bucket, a small basket, a duffle bag, etc. (if riding a bus, containers must be small enough to fit on a student’s lap). As a reminder, for all Bonnie Brae spirit days we encourage participation through the SCA theme for that month, or by wearing Bonnie Brae colors of blue and white!

Staying Healthy this Cold/Flu Season
Although the community level of COVID-19 in Fairfax County is currently low, cases of RSV, the flu, and other viruses are on the rise. It continues to be important to wash your hands regularly, cover coughs and sneezes, monitor your health daily, and stay home if you are sick. For more tips, visit our Return to School website.
