- Today is the last day to order your Cardinal spirit wear!
- Celebrate Election Day with a nice meal from Honeygrow! They are donating a portion of their sales on Tuesday to the PTA if you use promo code GIVE127.
- Remember to donate to the Cardinal Campaign! Less than a week into our campaign, we have raised $1,500 towards our goal of $12,000. We have a ways to go to make sure we can do all of the amazing things we have planned for the students and staff!

Our next Dining for Dollars event is being held at Honeygrow in Vienna (8399 Leesburg Pike) on Tuesday, November 8 from 10:30am–9:30pm. Use promo code GIVE127 on the honeygrow app, at honeygrow.com, or in-store at the kiosk before checking out.
Our next PTA meeting will be in-person from 7–8:30pm on Tuesday, November 15. Our art, music, band, PE, and library specialists will share what our children learn in “specials” throughout the year. We will also have an activity to help show how thankful we are for our wonderful teachers and staff. Please join us! Child care and dinner for children will be provided; please email president@cpes-pta.org if you require child care.
Is one of your child's teachers going above and beyond and deserves some extra recognition? Now is your chance to nominate and let their efforts be known! Nominations due by Tuesday, November 15.
CPES will be collecting gift cards to help families within our community again this holiday season. Gift cards can be of any amount and are most helpful from stores such as Target and Walmart. We also collect gift cards from Giant for groceries over winter break. Donations can be dropped off in the front office by Thursday, December 8 and will directly support families here at Cunningham Park. Neighbors Helping Neighbors is our e-mail group to recieve updates on needs within our community - things such as snacks for classrooms/school clinic, winter clothing, grocery gift cards and more.
Have you tried to join our Neighbors Helping Neighbors group and had a problem getting through? We may have a glitch in our system. While we work it out, please e-mail Erica Lee to request to join the group.
