Last Chance to Buy 7th Grade Dinner Tickets!
Ticket sales for the 7th Grade Dinner will end TOMORROW, SUNDAY, 10/30, at 5pm. Don't delay!
All 7th grade students and families are invited to the 7th Grade Dinner on Sunday, November 6th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on the blacktop at school. This is a great opportunity for families to get to know one another and meet your child's new middle school friends.
We will have a food truck on site - the Grease Wagon. Tickets will be sold via MemberHub ($4 per person). Don't forget to bring your chairs & blankets. We hope you and your family can make it! This is not a drop off event.
We are in need of a few adult volunteers to help during this event. If you want to get involved, contact PTA President Melanie Nunez (president@thoreaupta.org).
Thoreau T-shirt Design Entries due THIS Friday, November 4th
Calling all of our creative Thoreau Eagles! The PTA is coordinating a student designed t-shirt contest. Submit your own design for a chance to have your t-shirt worn by the entire Thoreau community.

Guidelines:
|
- Designs should embrace Thoreau school spirit.
|
|
Submission Requirements:
|
- Use no more than 3 colors.
- If the design is created digitally, save it in high resolution as an Adobe Illustrator file in .AI or high-resolution PDF or SVG.
- If the design is hand drawn, use 8.5”x11” white paper and use Sharpies or markers to create the design. Do not use crayons or colored pencils. If pencil is used, it should be traced with a marker and the pencil marks should be erased so the submission is a clear design.
- More than one submission per student is allowed.

T-shirt orders:

- A panel of staff and parent judges will select the winning design. Order forms for the t-shirts will be online in mid-November for $10-$15 each, with delivery in December.

Please join the PTA, and consider making an additional donation to help fund PTA sponsored activities. Donations help support all teacher and staff appreciation events, and help foster our welcoming Thoreau community through student and family events.
