Last Day to Register for the Pyramid Run is Friday, Oct. 21
Join Hunt Valley and the rest of the elementary schools aligned under the WSHS pyramid for a fun run on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Washington Irving Middle School.
Registration closes this Friday, Oct. 21. Register at: https://www.finallaptiminggroup.com/meets/2022-west-springfield-pc (there will be no late or onsite registration this year).
Volunteers are also needed to make this a successful event! If you are able to volunteer, please sign-up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080B4DAEA82BA5FC1-pyramid.
Finally, we need one brave and energetic volunteer to serve as Hamilton, the Hunt Valley Hawk mascot for the event. The individual must be 5'5'' or shorter. If interested please contact Dianna Carr at wellness@huntvalleypta.org.

Who's Ready for Family Movie Night
The Hunt Valley PTA will host a family-friendly movie night on Friday, Oct. 28 featuring DC League of Super-Pets.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and join us in the cafeteria for some popcorn and a movie!

Save the Date: Spirit Night at Pupatella
Thank you to everyone who came out to the most recent Spirit Night at Chipotle. We were able to raise more than $500 for the PTA! Thank you for supporting.
Our next Spirit Night will be at Pupatella on Wednesday, Nov. 16 and will be an ALL DAY event!

2022-2023 Donation Drive
This year, the PTA will continue focusing our fundraising efforts on a direct donation drive, which ensures that ALL your donated dollars are spent directly on activities that benefit our Hunt Valley community. Please consider making a donation to the Hunt Valley PTA so we may continue to provide programs, activities, and materials to our school.
The direct donation drive will run from Oct. 7 through Dec. 2. We hope to raise $6,000 to cover PTA expenses for the current school year and can’t reach that goal without your help!
Where will your money go?
100% of funds will go to support programs that enrich your student(s) educational experience including:
- Family fun events like the Fall Festival and Movie Nights
- Transportation funds for field trips at all grade levels
- Teacher stipends for classroom projects and supplies
- Appreciation days like Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week
- And much more……
