Dear Terra Centre Community,
As you may have heard, later this month we'll be kicking off our major annual fundraiser-Raise Craze! This email explains what it's all about and how you can help. Raise Craze is a unique way for us to raise money for things like field trips, teaching supplies, and repairing our mural--all while making an impact in our community.
During this fundraiser, students ask friends and family for donations via the online Raise Craze platform, while "paying it forward" by serving others. This is a great way for us to teach our students the importance of kindness and gratitude while raising much-needed funds. Students will spend time serving, not selling!
Last year, students performed 233 Acts of Kindness (AOKs) and raised more than $12,300! This year, we've got two big goals--perform 400 acts of kindness and raise $15,000! More than 90% of the funds we raise go directly back to the school.

We will pick one name at random from the first 100 students who sign up--that student will receive two free tickets to our Pottery Night on Friday, November 4!
As a little encouragement, teachers will be recognizing "Kindness on the Spot" when they see students being kind, so please talk to your child(ren) about ways to show kindness at school.
