The week of Homecoming is always a fun and exciting week! Check out our sprit day list below:
Monday, October 17th - Jersey Day
Support your favorite sports teams or favorite player with their jersey or team related clothing!
Tuesday, October 18th - Hawaiian Day
Wear your tropical shirts, sunglasses, flip flops and tropical leis!
Wednesday, October 19th - We Wear Pink
Wear your pink! Any and all shades of pink!
Thursday, October 20th - Cowboys vs Golfers
Cowboys wear your boots, plaid shirts, belt buckles and jeans
Golfers wear your polos, khakis or black pants - No clubs necessary!
Friday, October 21st - Wear your class colors
Freshman - Gray\Silver
Sophomores - White
Juniors - Black
Seniors - Red
The McLean High School Leadership class has been working hard to come with fun activities for the whole school to participate in. Here's the breakdown:
Wednesday, October 19th - Power Puff
Students can head out to the football stadium during Highlander Time to support their favorite team!
Thursday, October 20th - MHS Bonfire
Come out for a spirited night at the bonfire on the practive softball field @ 7:00 pm. All grades are welcome! S'mores and fixins' available while the last!
Friday, October 21st - Pep Rally
The Homecoming Pep Rally will be Friday at 1:44 pm. All students will head to the football field with their 6th period classes. Students will leave their backpacks in their locked classrooms. After the pep rally, they wil return to their classrooms and pick up their belongings. See the bell schedule below:
Friday, October 21st - MHS Homecoming Football Game
The McLean Highlanders v. the Herndon Hornets @ 7:00 pm.
The theme is Royal Red - Wear your crowns & royal robes! The Homecoming Court will be announced at halftime.
Tickets can be purchased 24 hours in advance. The QR code will be posted at the school.
Please note: No backpacks or outside food or drinks allowed.
Any children, not of high school age, must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday, October 22nd - Homecoming Dance

Homecoming Dance - 8:00-11:00pm
Buy your ticket now and come to the Homecoming Dance, Saturday night from 8pm to 11 pm. Tickets are on sale now through October 20th! The QR code for purchasing tickets through etix is posted in the cafeteria, outside the activities office, outside of B175 and on the TV screens. It's also posted below. Directions for purchasing tickets will be posted on all grade level Schoology pages.
