 Dear Stone Families,
Fall is here and the temperature is changing. Please ensure your student is appropriately dressed for the weather. Throughout the month, students will have several student holidays and the quarter ends on October 28th; so it is important, more than ever, for students to stay on top of their assignments and test preparations. As a reminder, teachers are all available on Tuesdays afterschool until 3:30pm for students who need help.
This is a reminder that tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 10 is a student holiday and staff development day so we will welcome students back on Tuesday.
This week we will have a fall spirit week in honor of the 2022 Westfield Homecoming festivities. Monday is a student holiday. Tuesday is students dress like your teacher day. Wednesday is a pink out. Thursday is Rodeo vs Tennis/Golf day. Friday is a white out. The Homecoming parade will start at Stone Middle on Friday afternoon. Please come out to watch the parade march through the streets. If your student is planning to attend the Varsity football game, please remember that they must be accompanied by an adult who supervises them for the duration of the game.
Thank you to the PTSA who provided a special lunch to the Stone custodial team in honor of Custodian Appreciation Week. Our first PTSA meeting is scheduled for October 19th at 6pm in the library. More information about the agenda for the evening will be sent out from the PTSA soon along with our fall fundraiser nights.
Thank you to those parents/guardians who attended our first Parent Coffee Series this week. We enjoyed helping you navigate and learn more about your SIS ParentVUE and Schoology accounts to better support you and your student(s).
We are already looking ahead at future Parent Coffee topics and would love your input. We want to make these as meaningful and relevant as possible. Please take a moment to complete this very short survey to let us know what you would like to hear more about this year.
