Our next Dining for Dollars event is being held at Chick-Fil-A in Vienna on Monday, October 10 from 6:30am-10pm. Please be sure to mention “CPES Spirit Day” when placing your order on the mobile app or in the restaurant.
In addition to updates on the Fall Festival and other PTA activities, we will have a presentation from Kelly Carper, Reading Specialist, on Supporting Students in Writing.
Save the Date for the Fall Festival! Friday, October 28 from 4-6pm with various games (Yes! There will be Bingo!) and activities set up around the playground at CPES. Pizza will be provided, there will be a bake sale, and kids have chances to win prizes and wow the judges in a costume contest, and you could be the big winner in the 50/50 raffle.
But we need YOU to make it happen! Volunteers are the backbone of events like these, so please consider lending a hand. Check out the Fall Festival page for more information.
The rain date is October 29, 12-2pm.
We are participating in Bike & Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 12. Walk, bike, or scooter to school and meet Vienna Mayor Linda Colbert and Casey the Cardinal! Parent volunteers will be on-hand to cheer on the kids' healthy choice and give them a small prize.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is our e-mail group to recieve updates on needs within our community - things such as snacks for classrooms/school clinic, winter clothing, grocery gift cards and more.
Have you tried to join our Neighbors Helping Neighbors group and had a problem getting through? We may have a glitch in our system. While we work it out, please e-mail Erica Lee to request to join the group.

Además de actualizaciones sobre el Festival de Otoño y otras actividades de la PTA, tendremos una presentación de Kelly Carper, especialista en lectura, sobre el apoyo a los estudiantes en escritura.
No ofreceremos interpretación en español para la reunión. El presidente de la PTA compartirá actualizaciones de esta reunión en una reunión con café para padres hispanohablantes a finales de este mes. Próximamente habrá más información sobre esta reunión.
¡Guarde la fecha para el Festival de Otoño! Viernes 28 de octubre de 4 a 6 pm con varios juegos (¡Sí! ¡Habrá Bingo!) y actividades en el patio de recreo de CPES. Se proporcionará pizza y los niños tendrán la oportunidad de ganar premios y sorprender a los jueces en un concurso de disfraces, y usted podría ser el gran ganador de la rifa 50/50.
