Tutor.com is Free for FCPS Students

FCPS students continue to have unlimited access to live, 24/7, 1-to-1, online tutoring services through Tutor.com at no cost to families during the 22-23 SY. Student participation is optional and parents/guardians can opt their student(s) out of accessing the services. Detailed information and FAQs are available on the Tutor.com Online Tutoring Services website.

Students can access Tutor.com via a link in Schoology. Additional information about how to log in and access a tutor is provided to families via the following: Elementary - How It Works and Middle & High - How It Works. Questions not answered in the posted resources may be sent to onlinetutoring@fcps.edu.

If you would like your child to bring home their laptop to access Tutor.com, please let your teacher know via Remind.

Digital Resources

Digital Resources Consent Needed

Fairfax County Public Schools provides access to digital resources to maximize learning opportunities and protect student privacy. Each FCPS digital resource has had an instructional and technical review. Information about Information about the educational technology tools approved for use within FCPS can be found in the online Digital Ecosystem Library.  Some FCPS-approved resources require parental consent.  This permission will expire at the end of this school year, and can be revoked at any time by contacting the school.  Please fill out the Digital Consent Form here

Don't Read this Book Student Club

Woodlawn Elementary School is thrilled to announce a new after
school activity available for a limited number of 3rd-5th grade
students, their parents/guardians as well as all Woodlawn Staff.
Bus service will be provided after the activity for those students that need it. Information will be sent home this week. Please contact Mr. Carlisle with any additional questions.

If your student receives support in English language development, please come to our ESOL Parent Night! We are so excited to have you join us on Wednesday, October 19th from 7:00-8:30PM.

Please register with the ESOL Night Registration Form. A hardcopy registration form will be sent home in the student's Wednesday folder.
