Dear Lake Anne Family,
It's been another great week of learning and fun at Lake Anne. As the weather becomes more brisk and we welcome all the changes of Fall, we are also excited for the many activities this season will bring. We kicked off the season with an amazing PTA movie night and can't wait to enjoy the beautiful fall weather at Walk and Roll on October 7th.
Earlier today, a letter went out about CogAt testing for 2nd Grade students and some 3-6 Grade students. Please see the testing dates below:
- Grades 3-6 October 11
- Grade 2: October 13, October 14, October 17

Calendar Reminder!
There is no school on Wednesday October 5th in observation of Yom Kippur.

National Custodian Day is Sunday, October 2. We will celebrate all the amazing work our custodial staff does on Monday, October 3. Students will write special notes in their classes to help decorate our custodian's office and the PTA is helping to provide special treats!
 
 From September 15 to October 15, FCPS recognizes and celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of the members of our community whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
