Monday, September 26, is a student holiday/professional work day for teachers. It is also Rosh Hashanah, the second day of the two-day celebration of the Jewish New Year. See the complete 2022-23 school year calendar.
THANK YOU Clermont Families!
Thanks to you we raised over $40,000 to benefit our students, including the renovation of our central courtyard into an outdoor learning space! The students had a blast today running their laps and cheering on their peers. We couldn't have done it without all of you!
Thank you to Emily Campos for taking this great group photo of the entire school at the Fun Run today!
Many families have yet to complete their Digital Resources Consent and the SR&R Signature Sheet. Students will not be able to participate in activities utilizing many technology resources in class without the digital consent completed, and students will not be permitted to attend field trips without the SR&R signature completed. If you have not yet completed either of these, please follow the instructions below today.
SR&R Signature Sheet: FCPS’ updated Student Rights & Responsibility booklet is available online and in the ParentVue section of the Student Information System (SIS). Please log into ParentVue in your child’s SIS account to access the SR&R, or print out the SR&R signature sheet and return it to the school. Signatures are due by September 30
Digital Resources Consent: Please complete the Digital Resources Consent online as soon as possible. You can find our school’s list of the resources that require parental consent on the Clermont website. You can find more information about approved digital resources in FCPS here: https://www.fcps.edu/resources/technology/digital-resources.
As part of our on-going counseling program at Clermont Elementary School, we will begin small group counseling to support students whose parent/guardian is deployed. “The Military Support Club”, will meet one time per month on an ongoing basis. Meetings are during the school day and last for 45 minutes.
The Military Support Club is formed to assist students in connecting with others, sharing feelings, and discussing strategies to cope with deployment. The group will consist of discussions and activities.

Please reach out if you have questions or would like for your child to participate.
Double Trouble: Screech took a break from the Washington Nationals to stop by the Clermont Fun Run today with Clermont's own Ernie the Eagle!
Families, we kindly request that you do not pack your child's food or drink items in glass containers. We have recently had several glass items from children's lunches break, which presents a safety hazard and places a strain on the lunchroom staff. Please choose other types of containers for your child's items. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
Clermont students have a strong voice! We would love to hear more about the various holidays our students celebrate from our Eagles. Does your family celebrate Yom Kippur? If your child is interested in recording a segment for our news show, we would love to hear their thoughts! Please contact Mrs. Cangro at kncangro@fcps.edu for more information.
Each one of us is unique. And every student matters. If a student is having a difficult time attending class, please tell a trusted adult at school. There are solutions.
Visit our Attendance webpage for resources on attendance.
