Hey there, Dranesville Families! It’s September 22nd – and it was great to see so many of you at Back to School night! Quick reminder that Back to School Night slides are posted in Schoology for those who could not attend in person.

Dragon Runners Kicked Off on Tuesday! Registration Open until September 30. |
Designed for 3rd to 6th graders, this exciting program helps strengthen students in body and spirit by combining group activities with running. Students will develop strength and endurance in the sport of running. It is our hope that students will develop a lifelong passion for physical fitness – and create strong friendships along the way.
Important Details:
Who: Students in 3rd-6th grade
Dates: September 20 – November 19, 2022 Tuesday and Thursday, 4:15-5:30 p.m.
Cost: $40 for PTA members/$45 for non-members.
Students will be training to run a 5k

For Take What You Need Tuesday, the office windows were full of positive notes for a student to take or give to someone else in need. And we had a great showing of parents for Welcome Wednesday. Parents were on hand at each of the school doors to make sure every student was welcomed to school!
