We have a lot of great events coming up! Tonight is the Robinson Homecoming Parade at 4:45. Come out and join us before heading to the Taste of Robinson and Varsity football game at Robinson Secondary School-go Rams! Picture Day is Monday, October 3rd and Field Day is on Tuesday, October 4th. As a reminder, school is closed for students on Monday, September 26th.

Helpful Attendance Tips
If you know your child will be missing school for 3 or more consecutive days, please complete the Pre-Arranged Absence Form prior to the absence. Thank you!
Understanding the Attendance Codes
- EXC-Excused Absence
- Examples: student illness, death in the family, medical procedure, injury, temporary student or family hardship, etc.
- UNX-Unexcused Absence
- Absences in which student whereabouts are unknown
- UNL-Unexcused Locally Absence
- Absences where student whereabouts are known or supported by the parent, but administration or local policy still deems the absence unexcused
- Examples: vacation, student participating in other non-school activity during school hours, etc.
- EXT-Excused Tardy
- Student was not present in their classroom at the start of the school day (8:40), but has a valid reason for being late
- UNT-Unexcused Tardy
- Student was not present in their classroom at the start of the school day (8:40) for an acceptable reason

ESSER III Funding Supports Student Success: Your Voice Matters
In the fall of 2021, FCPS received $188.8 million in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III) funding to support the safe operation of schools and address the impacts of COVID-19 on students.
ESSER III focus areas have included resources for prevention and mitigation of COVID, academic services, multilingual engagement, support for students’ social emotional needs, and professional development.
Your Voice Matters!
A feedback form will be live on the ESSER III webpage Friday, September 23. Your input will inform the School Board and FCPS staff on the community’s view of our work. Watch this video to see the impact ESSER III funds are having in our schools. Learn more on FCPS’ website.

From September 15 to October 15, FCPS recognizes and celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of the members of our community whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Field Day – October 4, 2022
Field day for K - 6th grade will be October 4th. 4th – 6th grade will be from 9 - 11:30 and K – 3rd grade will be from 12:30 - 3:00. Field Day is so much fun for our students and is a great way to build classroom community! We can’t do it without the help of our wonderful parent volunteers! Please look at the options on our Sign-Up Genius to see if you can help with field day. Inside stations are available if you are not able to be outside. Thank you in advance for any support you might be able to provide!
