With fall sports rolling along there are plenty of opportunities to get out and support your Atoms! Volleyball, Field Hockey and Football will all be competing at home this week, including our first home varsity Football game on Friday against John Lewis High School!
Student Booster Passes are available for purchase online at https://www.atomsboosters.org/ and at the gate before games this week. Passes are $30 and get you into all regular season athletic events for the year.

Atoms Athletics Highlights
This week our boys and girls cross country teams ran fantastic races at Mason District Park with the top girls time being turned in by one of our own Atoms!

Annandale Band Tag Day
This year, tag day will be held on September 10th and September 11th for the Annandale Department of Bands
Tag day is a major fund-raising day when members of the Annandale Bands go door to door within the community to ask for donations. The donations assist in the funding for band & color guard uniforms, instruments, scholarships and clinicians, music, supplies, and registration for competitions. Your continued support enables us to proudly represent our school and community throughout the year.

Due to the contract with NFHS ending as of June 2022, streaming service will no longer be free. The cost to purchase streaming services are as follows:

Join the Athletic Boosters
The Atoms Boosters need you as an Atoms fan in the stands cheering on our athletes, as well as behind the scenes as an athletics supporter. 100% of your Booster contributions support the many athletic programs, facilities, and athletes at AHS.
The BENEFITS of purchasing an AHS Athletic Booster Membership/athletic passes include:
- SAVE MONEY! — Admission for free admission for Freshmen, Junior Varsity, and Varsity regular-season home athletic events (not valid for away games or postseason play).
- Ease and Convenience — Avoid the ticket line, just show your pass at the admissions gate; no need to carry cash.
- Support the Atoms — 100% of the money goes to AHS athletics. Normal gate fees are split between AHS and the opponent.

Adult Pass - $60
Parking Pass - $30 (good for home varsity football games only)

Special Ask... Atoms After School Snack Bar
As many of you know, the Atoms Athletic Boosters has been able to open our concessions stand after school for your children to grab a bite to eat prior to heading to their activities. Unfortunately many of our parent volunteers graduated out and as of now, we can only open 1-2 days a week. If your schedule allows, please consider volunteering either 1 day a week or even just 2 days a month. The hours are 2:45-4:15. This is a rare benefit in Fairfax County that we are able to provide for our kids, but we can’t do it without parent help. Annandale Clubs and Activities
On Monday, September 12th the Annandale activities department will host its annual club, activities and athletics fair. This will be an opportunity for students to find out more about all extracurricular activities offered at AHS.
