Fall Portraits

Students have been given order forms this week in their Health and Physical Education class. Pictures will be taken during student's PE Class on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Physical Education Uniforms
Uniforms are on sale now through MySchool Bucks and will be distributed through your students' HPE classes during the second week of school on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1. Please send in a copy of your MySchool Bucks receipt or a check for the exact amount made payable to Mark Twain Middle School. Prices have increased a bit for all articles of clothing and are as follows…
- Shirts are $7.00
- Shorts are $8.00
- Shirt and Short sets are $15
- HPE Joggers are $19
Students are not required to wear a uniform; however, they do need to wear clothing they can move in and sneakers to participate in physical activities. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa McGarry if your student is in the 8th grade or Luwanne Mebane if your student is in the 7th grade.
TJHSST Eligibility Requirements- Time Sensitive
All 8th grade students interested in applying to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology (TJHSST) must meet certain eligibility requirements for residency, course prerequisites, and grade point average. Details about the TJHSST eligibility requirements are found at https://www.fcps.edu/registration/thomas-jefferson-admissions/eligibility-requirements. If your child has any interest in applying, please visit the site immediately to confirm their eligibility. Any course changes needed to meet these minimum requirements must be made by Thursday, September 1, and are based on space availability.
