PE and Health Expectations

The expectation for the 2022-2023 school year is that Physical Education and Personal Fitness students will use their assigned locker room to change into safe, comfortable clothing for the class period.  We prefer and recommend Robinson athletic wear.  The HPE department has set up a site where you can purchase Robinson Athletic. Please have your student get the link from their PE teacher.

Students will be given the opportunity to lock their belongings within the locker room for their class period. Student’s belongings, including backpacks, laptops, and phones will be left in the locker room unless directed by the teacher. Students must have a master lock to lock items. This can be brought from home or purchased through myschoolbucks.

Middle School Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books

Are you a middle school student who loves to read and who also loves competition? If so, you may be interested in joining the new middle school club, Battle of the Books. Battle of the Books is a competitive reading club which will meet every other Thursday after school in the library. The interest meeting is Thursday, Sept. 15 at 3pm; late buses are provided. This is not a drop-in club in that students will be in collaborative teams to prepare for our school "battle" in the spring. The winning team will then represent Robinson at the FCPS county-wide "battle" in June! So, come to the Battle of the Books interest meeting on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 3pm in the library to learn what it is all about!
