President's Message
Welcome back to WFES. My name is Lisa Verne and I am the PTA President for the 2022/2023 school year. I have two daughters at WFES (3rd and 5th grades) and my oldest just graduated and is attending Frost Middle School. We have been part of the Wakefield Forest community since 2018 and have been very pleased with the supportiveness of the community, especially the collaboration between the parents and teachers through activities supported by the PTA.
More information will follow about the PTA meeting schedule and we hope that you will join us. If you have not already joined/renewed please visit our website (http://www.wfespta.org/). So far this year, the PTA has 1. Supported the teachers and staff with a Back-To-School breakfast, 2. Hosted and Newcomers event, and 3. Welcomed you back that the Open House. We have many more fun activities planned including the Wolf Run on October 21st. There will be many opportunities to volunteer so please let us know if you want to help.
While this year may not quite look like what we are used to, we look forward to drawing together as a community to support our school and have some fun along the way! We would love to hear your ideas for ways that we can connect safely!

WFES Spirit Wear Fall Sale
The PTA is excited to offer a great collection of Spirit Wear on sale now through 9/23. Complete with tee shirts, hooded pullover sweatshirts, an embroidered zip up hooded sweatshirt and fleece jacket, and so much more! Most items are available in both youth and adult sizes so whether you are a student, parent, grandparent or teacher, you can enjoy sporting all of the latest designs while also supporting our school.
You can order with a credit card online or submit an order form to pay by check. Visit the PTA online store to see the entire collection. Fall items are printed to order and are FINAL SALE.
