Bus Transportation - First Week of School

Please make sure your child arrives at the bus stop 5 minutes early and that you allow extra time for the bus to return to the stop in the afternoon.  Often the first week of transportation includes adjustments; thank you in advance for your patience!

Please remember that Kindergarten students who ride the bus in the afternoon must be met at the bus door and asked for by name by a parent, parent designee, guardian, or a responsible middle school age or higher sibling.  Kindergarten students not met will be returned to school.

Family Engagement Committee

We are seeking members of our school community who would be interested in serving on a family engagement committee. The objective of this committee would be to gain a diverse perspective from families on topics impacting our school. Topics would change throughout the year, but we expect our initial focus to be mays in which we celebrate differences at our school. If you are interested please email acalder@fcps.edu. Meetings will be held virtually on Zoom monthly.

Recognize Our Staff Who Go Above and Beyond

FCPS Cares

The FCPS CARES Program is an opportunity for parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story, so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees. Our very own Jessica Yaman was recognized as the Region 5 winner for June 2022.
