Save the Date: "Education is Everybody's Business!" 

Educate Fairfax will host its community fundraising event, "Leaders & Learners: Education is Everybody's Business" on Wednesday, November 9 from 8:00 -10:00 am

With schools starting back next week, it's an ideal time for business leaders to consider how they will work with their local schools in the coming year. "Education is Everybody's Business" is an event designed to bring area employers and leaders from Fairfax County Public Schools together - strong schools are the bedrock of a vibrant community.

Show your support of FCPS with your sponsorship of the Leaders and Learner breakfast on November 9th. Check out our website for more information. 

This event will feature a key-note address from new Superintendent Michelle Reid, and awards to two incredible supporters of FCPS and Educate Fairfax, the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation and Len Forkas.

Teacher Grant Applications  Open Now!

Are you a teacher or do you know an FCPS teacher? Applications are open now for the next round of teacher grant funding. Learn about the process and see the types of projects Educate Fairfax has previously funded, on our website

Grants this year will focus on projects that support work-based learning and career exploration as part of the regular class curriculum. Grant amounts will be from $1,000 - 2,000 and will be distributed in early November.  

Interested in supporting our grant program? Your donation to Teacher Grants will go directly to a teacher to help realize their project.
