The Varsity Dance Team, LBVDT Gold, had a great start to their season at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) camp August 8th-11th. At camp they competed against other Virginia dance teams and won first place for their home routine.They qualified for a spot at UDA Nationals in Orlando this Spring and were also awarded the Full Out Award!
Lastly, their 6 All American candidates all qualified and have the opportunity to perform at special All-American events. Congrats to:
Simara Alexander (12th), Olivia Evans (12th), Yasemin Tanyu (12th), Gina Kaiser (11th), Hadiyah Martin (11th) and Aislin Mitchell (11th).
As the season begins, the team will be focusing on fundraising for Nationals with their annual car wash on August 27th and bake sales during the Middle School and High School Back to School Nights. Be on the lookout for dancers walking around with yummy treats during both nights. They’d truly appreciate everyone’s support. Go Bruins!

We have five membership categories so choose the one that works best for you: Super Bruin, Family, Couple, Individual (non-student), or Student.
Every LBABC member gets a Booster Pass that can be used for admission to all Lake Braddock REGULAR SEASON HOME GAMES, for all VHSL sports, throughout the school year. Senior athletes who are LBABC members are eligible to apply for one of the LBABC scholarships in the spring.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF VHSL PHYSICAL FORM:
- A single PDF document including all four pages of the VHSL form and any other related documents (doctor's notes, specialist clearance, Kaiser Permanente printouts) can be scanned and emailed to LBSSActivities@fcps.edu.
- If you do not have access to a scanner, you can use your phone!

iPhone Users: There is a built-in scanning feature in the 'Notes' app. Just start a new note, tap on the camera icon, and select 'Scan Documents'. Scan a page, select 'Keep Scan', and continue this process until you have scanned all necessary pages. Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner when finished. You can then tap on the document and email it!

Android Users: There is a built-in scanning feature in the 'Google Drive' app. Open your Google Drive and tap on the '+' in the bottom right corner. Select the 'Scan' option, which should open up your camera. Take a picture of the first page, click 'Done' and then make any adjustments. From here you will tap on the '+' icon in the bottom left corner to scan additional pages into the same document. Continue this process until you have scanned all necessary pages. Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner and then rename the document whatever you would like. You can then open the document and email it!
- Pictures will NO LONGER be accepted for valid submission. Pictures are typically dark and/or poor quality by the time they travel through the FCPS email server, making it difficult to read them clearly. Please DO NOT send pictures of this document.
