Given the challenges you may be hearing about teacher shortages, I wanted to update you specifically about CVHS. We have been working hard throughout the spring and summer to fill our teaching vacancies during this challenging staffing time. We know the importance of having a qualified teacher in the classroom! Fortunately, we have been able to fill all but two of our teaching vacancies. We still have a vacancy for a technology education teacher and a vacancy for a multiple disabilities teacher in our special education program. We have substitutes and a coverage plan for the vacancies; however, we are still looking to hire a teacher for those two positions.

There are some remaining shortages across the county in a variety of support positions such as food service and bus drivers. We anticipate these shortages will have some impact on CVHS. If you are interested in applying for a position go here.
