Dear Brookfield Families,
We can hardly wait until next Friday (8/19) to greet all of you during our Open House event. It will be wonderful to see familiar faces and meet some new ones, too! Speaking of new faces, our newest families attended our New Student Open House on Thursday – it was great to meet some for the very first time! Thank you to our amazing PTA who produced smiles with popsicles on the playground! We continue to be grateful for our generous and dedicated community.
Teachers have been in the building this week setting up classrooms, planning great lessons, and reconnecting with their colleagues - now all we need is students! Grade level teachers will be reaching out on Wednesday, August 17, to greet students in their homeroom class. They can hardly wait!
Enjoy the last week of summer and know how excited we are to welcome everyone back to Brookfield!

Open House and Back to School Event on Friday, August 19th
Mark your calendars and join us on Friday, August 19th!
All students and families are invited to come meet the teachers, explore the classrooms, and ask questions about the school year. Teachers will also share an overview of the grade level curriculum and expectations for students to keep them safe and happy.
Here are the grades and assigned times:

9:00 – 9:45 1st and 2nd Grade

10:00 – 10:45 3rd and 4th Grade

The Digital Resources Consent Form
The Digital Resources Consent form grants permission for your child to use instructional technology resources like Flipgrid, Padlet, and Kahoot (a full list is here). Many of our teachers plan exciting lessons that incorporate these tools, and we want to make sure your child can participate. Please take the time to fill out the form today - it takes only a few minutes.

FCPS is seeking individuals to serve as substitute teachers, instructional assistants, public health training assistants, and public health attendants. Bell Schedule
Starting Monday, August 22nd, Brookfield's bell schedule will be 8:10- 2:55. Students can begin entering the building at 7:55 a.m.
