Attention!!!
There is a multi-agency training scenario for active shooter events happening at the Fort Belvoir Upper Elementary School next week August 8-11th 2022 from 0800-1300.
You will hear sounds of simulated gunfire in the area related to this training.
While we hope this training will never need to be used, these skills are imperative to practicing and preparing ourselves to better serve our community.
This training is a collaborative effort between Fairfax County Fire & Rescue , Fairfax Police, and Fort Belvoir Department of Emergency Services.
There is no active threat.
