Edison Academy Families,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at the Edison Academy, we welcome new students and our continuing students back for the 2022-2023 school year. Together, we are a strong community of learners that support one another and provide the necessary caring culture so everyone will thrive. The first day of school is Monday, August 22. Edison Academy will follow the regular “Odd Day” schedule and shuttle service will be provided. Please contact the Edison Academy attendance office if your student will be staying at the base school due to an altered schedule using the on-line attendance form or email EdisonAcademy.Attendance@fcps.edu.The student should email their Academy teacher to inform them that they are remaining at their base school due to an altered schedule and also inform the base school attendance office.
If your family is eligible to participate in the Fee and Reduced-Price Meal program, please complete the consent to share information to access free or reduced fees for Edison Academy programs as well. Edison Academy does not have access to any application information provided and will only know about eligibility if the family completes the consent to share information form.
Important message to students: Please access your SIS account from a computer (not the app) for the first time on August 18 to check your Academy schedule. After logging in, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to see if your Academy class is the same period(s) that your base school has you scheduled. If there is a discrepancy, please contact your base school counselor.
There will be no lunch available for non-Edison High School students, except for Cosmetology. If you have a period 5 or 6 class at Edison Academy, please eat lunch at your base school before coming to Academy.
