FALL SPORTS TRYOUT INFORMATION
Register for 2022-2023 athletics here!
Tryouts for ALL fall sports: August 1 - 3
Students must have a tryout card on the first day of tryouts.
In order to pick up a tryout card, the student must be registered and have a current VHSL physical submitted (see the link above).
No card = no tryout.
Tryout card distribution dates/times:
July 26, 27, 28
3 - 7 PM
Door 14
Parents may pick up the card for their student.
TEAM TRYOUT SCHEDULES
FIELD HOCKEY
Lower Turf Field
Monday, August 1st – 4pm-5pm AND 6pm-8:30pm
Tuesday, August 2nd – 4pm-5pm AND 6pm-8:30pm
Wednesday, August 3rd – 4pm-5pm AND 6pm-8:30pm
Thursday, August 4th – Same, if needed.
VOLLEYBALL
Registration: Monday August 1st 9-11am Freshman Registration 9:00-10:00 am Upperclassmen Registration: 10:00-11:00am Outside of gym
Tryout Sessions: Freshman Session (freshman only) 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM* Sophomore-Senior Session 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
CHEER
August 1 – 3 4 PM – 7 PM Gym Backcourt
Athletic or cheer shoes and athletic wear
GOLF
Twin Lakes Golf Course, Clifton, VA
August 1: 4 PM, Oaks Course
August 2: 4 PM, Lakes Course
August 3: 4 PM, Oaks Course
Each golfer will be assigned a specific tryout time on each day. Plan on meeting at least 40 minutes before you time so you can warm up.
Tryouts will be three 9-hole rounds. You will need to pay for your tryout rounds and range tokens ($20 and $4 a bucket).
Times will be assigned to each golfer and posted in the Google Classroom (classroom code 3lnbjv5) on Sunday, July 31.
Each golfer must provide his/her own clubs. Rentals are available at Twin Lakes.
Bring water.
FOOTBALL
August 1 - 3
JV / Varsity 6 AM - 12:30 PM
Freshmen 4 - 7 PM
CROSS COUNTRY
Days – from Aug 1 thru Aug 4
Times – Mon, Aug 1 5:30pm-7:30pm, Tue-Thu, Aug 2-4 7:00am-9:00am
Locations – Door 9 grassy area
Specifics – running shoes, water bottle, yoga mat and/or big towel, 6 foot length of rope for stretching
