 For the past two years, the federal government has provided no-cost meals to all public school students without the need to complete the annual Free and Reduced-Price Meal application. However, the extension of the no-cost meals benefit to all students is expected to expire at the end of this school year. Therefore, families who are interested, must submit an application and be approved to be eligible for free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch for the 2022-23 school year. Interested families are encouraged to submit the Free and Reduced-Price Meal application ten days prior to the first day of the 2022-23 school year. Students approved for Free and Reduced-Price Meals may qualify for additional benefits such as waived or reduced fees for instruments, uniforms, field trips, FCPS class fees, and Parktakes classes by completing Section 4 of the application or the Consent to Share Information form. Schools also benefit from funding opportunities based on Free and Reduced Price Meal application numbers.
Classroom Monitors: Clermont ES is looking for several special people to serve as classroom monitors for the 2022-2023 school year! Pay is $16.36/hour. Monitors will work every day students attend throughout the 2022-2023 school year, and will directly support classrooms by providing teachers with additional planning time. Monitors will be responsible for supervising students. Teachers will provide directions/assignments for monitors and students to complete. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our school throughout the year, and monitors will experience all classroom environments (general education, special education, and specials classes such as art/music/PE). PTA will be hosting a Kindergarten Meet and Greet for families with students who will be in Kindergarten this fall.

As we begin to look ahead to the 2022-23 school year, please know that some students may need to have updated immunizations to attend school click for immunization info . We encourage you to check with your healthcare provider to make sure your child is up to date on required immunizations for the 2022-23 school year as soon as possible.
