The main office will be open from 9:00am - 1:00pm Mon-Fri throughout the summer. The Student Services office is open for registrations by appointment by contacting 703-802-5422, or emailing SKLee2@fcps.edu.
- Rising 9th grade students can register for the wildCat Connections summer orientation program. You can find more information and register at this link.
- Wildcat Welcome will be held at the school on Wednesday, August 17th, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. This is a family open house event for grades 9 - 12 to connect with the school, get your schedule, walk the building, learn more about clubs and activities, get a PE uniform, and a host of other opportunities.
- Freshman and new student orientation will be held on the morning of Friday, August 19th where students will follow their schedule and meet their teachers. More information will be shared over the summer.
- The date for Back to School Night is still being coordinated and will be shared as soon as it is finalized.
- Fall sports begin Aug 1st (golf starts July 28). Meet the coaches night for fall sports is Aug 4th at 7pm.
Monday, August 22nd, is the first day of school. School hours are 8:10 - 2:55.
With Mr. Burch retiring at the end of June, we are excited to announce Dr. Angela Rupa Florio as our new Assistant Principal! Dr. Rupa Florio began her teaching career as a math teacher in Brooklyn, NY, followed by serving as math teacher and department chair at Irving Middle School. She then transitioned to being an Instructional Coach at Annandale High School and currently serves as the Instructional Coach at Holmes Middle School. She has a proven track record of positively leading and guiding instruction at multiple levels. The people who work with Dr. Rupa Florio describe her as incredibly hard working, reflective, smart, and a good relationship builder. She earned her Bachelors degree in history and philosophy of science at the University of Pittsburg, Masters in Mathematics at Pace University in NY, and her Educational Specialist and Doctoral Degree in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from George Washington. We have no doubt that she will be a great addition to our team! Please join me in welcoming Dr. Angela Rupa Florio to Centreville High School! She begins her new post on July 1, 2022.
All school laptops need to be collected an re-imaged this summer, unless it is being used for a summer school program. If your student has not returned their laptop, please bring the laptop and charger to the main office between 9am - 1pm. Laptops will be reissued when school begins in August. Thank you!
It is important for us to know if your student will not be attending CVHS for the 2022-23 school year because you are no longer living within the Centreville HS boundaries. If you moved and your student will not be attending CVHS next year, please complete the intention form by clicking here and return it via email to Susan Lee at sklee2@fcps.edu or you can drop it off at the school during summer office hours. Students who are moving will need to return their laptop/charger if not done so already.
If you have a change in home address within our CVHS boundary and will still attend CVHS next year, please provide proof of your new residence to the office of Service Services.
