Principal's Message

The end of year celebrations continued this week! Our strings students certainly lit up the school with their concert(s) on Tuesday. Light sabers were not expected but were a highlight to a brilliant performance. We thank the many parents who came out to support their student and the strings program. Fairview has an outstanding Performing Arts program and I hope that parents seriously consider one of these enhanced learning opportunities (Chorus, Band, Strings) for their child while they are at Fairview. It would be a shame to miss such a great learning and performing opportunity.

Congratulations to all our students for a job well done this year! We celebrated our sixth grade at the promotion ceremony yesterday. This is an important milestone and demonstrates our students are ready to take the next step in to middle school.  We wish them the best and hope they return to say hello.  We look forward to their return one day in the not-too-distant future to walk the halls of FES as a senior graduating from Robinson Secondary.

As the Interim Principal of Fairview, it’s been my pleasure to be with you these last few weeks of school.  Working with such great students and a dedicated, professional and fun staff has truly been a joy for me. I cannot say enough about these students, teachers and this school and community.  Mrs. Goldstein is indeed fortunate to be joining you as principal July 1. I am sure many wonderful things are in store for Fairview ES in the years ahead.  😊

Please remember that our staff will not be accessing emails over the summer. Should you have a need, please call the school office at (703) 503-3700. Our summer office hours are 9-12 pm beginning Monday, June 20th.

I hope that you have a fantastic summer vacation. I am really happy to have been, ever so briefly, a part of the Fairview ES team.

All the best,

Dwayne
