We are pleased to welcome Larry Caines to Crestwood ES as our 2nd Assistant Principal! Lawrence Caines will be joining Crestwood ES as assistant principal in the 2022-2023 school year as the administrative team expands. Larry began his FCPS career 20 years ago at Parklawn ES, then transitioned to administration at Stratford Landing ES as an Assistant Principal. For the past eight years, he has served as AP at Hybla Valley ES. Larry brings a wide range of educational leadership experience, including leading Title I, ESOL, AAP Level IV, and a variety of other programs. He has also served as an ESY administrator for summer special education services on several occasions. Larry is a collaborative and thoughtful leader who believes in the balance of academics and social-emotional wellness for both students and staff. Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, Larry received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Marywood University in Scranton, PA, and his Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia.
