Underclassmen Laptop Return
Students in grades 9-11 should turn in their laptops to their 7th Period teacher on Thursday, June 9th.
Students enrolled in summer school may keep their laptop for the summer and we will exchange it out upon their return next school year.
Tutor.com - Summer Access
Students can access Tutor.com over the summer months by logging into Schoology through a course. However, after mid-June, when a student clicks on courses, the courses from the 2021-22 SY will no longer show up since they will be archived in transition to the new school year. Therefore, students must follow the instructions below to access Tutor.com from an archived course during the summer months.
If a student needs help understanding the process of viewing archived courses, visit this Schoology support page for detailed directions and an animated gif that will help visually.
Free and Reduced-Price Meal Applications/Summer Meals
Families must submit an application and be approved to be eligible for free and reduced price meals for SY 22-23. For the past two years, the federal government has provided no-cost meals to all public school students without the need to complete the annual Free and Reduced-Price Meal application. However, the extension of the no-cost meals benefit to all students is expected to expire at the end of this school year.
I encourage you to submit the Free and Reduced-Price Meal application prior to the first day of the 22-23 school year. The online application will be available later this summer. Watch your email and our website for more information. Learn more about the Free and Reduced-Price Meal program online.
No-cost summer meals will be served at all FCPS summer school locations this year. Please visit the FCPS website for updated information during the summer.
