Calendar Reminder

Friday, June 10 is the last day of school, and it is a 2 hour early release (1:55 p.m.).

Please make sure you have made arrangements for the early release, especially for kindergartners and PreK students who must be met at the bus stop in the afternoon.

Medication Pick-Up from Health Room

Pickup Deadline: Friday, June 10, 1:30 p.m.

All medications stored in the health room need to be picked up by a parent or guardian by 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10.  Any medication remaining in the health room after that time will be destroyed.  Medication cannot be sent home with your student.

Laptop & Charger Collection This Week

All student laptops will be collected this week so that they may be reimaged and prepared for fall.  All students will receive an FCPS-issued device again next year.

Please make sure your child's charger has been returned to school with their laptop.  Families will be charged for lost chargers.

Free and Reduced-Price Meal Applications

Families must submit an application and be approved to be eligible for free and reduced price meals for SY 22-23. For the past two years, the federal government has provided no-cost meals to all public school students without the need to complete the annual Free and Reduced-Price Meal application. However, the extension of the no-cost meals benefit to all students is expected to expire at the end of this school year.

Families are encouraged to submit the Free and Reduced-Price Meal application prior to the first day of the 22-23 school year. The online application will be available later this summer. Watch your email and our website for more information. Learn more about the Free and Reduced-Price Meal program online.

No-cost summer meals will be served at all FCPS summer school locations this year. Please visit the FCPS website for updated information during the summer.

If you have questions about the Free and Reduced-Price Meals program, the additional benefits your child may receive, or no-cost summer meals, please contact Ms. Alma Catin, School Registrar, at ANCatin@fcps.edu. We are happy to help.

A Year filled with Owl Pride!

As we reflect on this school year we are PROUD of the growth, resiliency, and flexibility of our teachers, students, staff and families throughout the year.  There were lots of changes and adjustments that were made this year and we accomplished our goals because we worked together as the Crestwood Team.  We are excited to seeing all of Owls return for the 2022-2023 school year and we will remember that:

Owls look out for ourselves and others

Work together

Love our nest and

Soar high to succeed!!

Have a great summer!
