The Lane PTA Executive Board invites all parents, guardians and teachers to consider joining the Lane PTA Executive Board for the 2022 - 2023 school year! We have three Board positions that are open for nominations and will be voted on this TUESDAY, JUNE 7, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. during the monthly Lane PTA meeting (via zoom).

Lane PTA President
VP of Communications: Coordinates the communications of the PTA, including back-to-school packets, event flyers, PTA's Memberhub website, PTA Facebook page, and weekly email announcements; advertises volunteer requests by other board members for various PTA functions.
VP of Social: Coordinates the social activities of the PTA. Ensure space availability, plans for activities within the event, coordinates event volunteers, contacts community groups who may wish to participate, selects food options, arranges for table accessibility and other custodial requirements, coordinates with communications VP for advertising, prints and distributes flyers.
VP of Education: Coordinates the before- and after-school enrichment programs sponsored by the PTA, supports the Reflections Program and Cultural Arts Programs (CAPS), and helps coordinate school assemblies. This position requires coordinating with vendors as well as reserving building space with the Lane administration and the FCPS Facilities Management office.
