Thursday, June 30 - Last Day to Order School Supplies
Student laptops were collected this week during the school day. If your child’s laptop was returned and scanned back into the inventory they received a return receipt via their FCPS Gmail account. Students are encouraged to save their laptop bag to use next year. Students in grades one and two will get brand new laptops, chargers, and bags next school year.
All laptops and chargers must be returned. If your child was absent this week their laptop and charger must be returned as soon as possible.
- Any student who does not return a laptop or charger will be charged the replacement fee of $481 for a laptop and $23 for a charger.
Fees paid through MySchoolBucks, school store.
- students participating in a FCPS summer program (ESY, SOAR, etc.) will be permitted to keep their laptop until after their summer program ends
Hello Colin Powell Families,
Thank you so much for supporting your kids and our school library this year. It was so fun working with your children and helping find the books they love. Please continue to encourage your child to read over the summer. In your child’s report card, you should find a fun Summer Reading activity. Complete the picture, bring it to our Back to School event and get a prize! Information and grade level activity sheets can also be found on the school website. Remember to choose the grade level your child will be going to next year.
